The statistic that trans men experience more DV and SA than cis women pretty much validates anecdotal experiences that have left thorns under my skin as a transman that has been removed from SA groups bc the women were uncomfortable with a man being there.

If you're a survivor, emotional regulation can be messy. Healing is messy. Take time to feel what you feel, go slow, take breaks. This can be retraumatizing & frustrating. 🫂Be kind to yourself.
