a comic featuring First Aid and Vortex from transformers. They are sitting in a grey room on a featureless grey bed in the corner of the room. Panel 1: Vortex sits against the back wall with his hands behind his head and his legs crossed. First Aid sits in front of him fretfully. First Aid: “I don’t understand. What are you doing here?” Vortex: “Cybertron sucks now. Starscream betrayed us. Blast Off betrayed us. So I quit! Figured I’d just kick it with you on this little quest thing.” First Aid: “But… you’re a combiner now! What about your team?” Panel 2: Vortex, making a dismissive gesture: “Eh, fuck those guys. Never really liked them that much anyway. Being Bruticus was cool and all, but when I realized we were going to be living in each others heads from here on out…” Panel 3: Vortex, leaning forward and pointing: “That’s when I remembered your leg friend! He quit being a combiner, and he turned out fine!”

Panel 4: First Aid, with a pained expression: “… Ambulon is dead.” Panel 5: Entirely black and white panel with Vortex looking very shocked. Panel 6: Zoom back out to show them both again. Vortex is looking shaken, and First Aid is holding a hand up to him and has his head in his other hand. Vortex: “I’m gonna die???” First Aid: “No, wait- I mean, it wasn’t related to that- let me start over…”
