ππΈπ³ Our Visiting Fellow @katerinaglyniadaki.bsky.social has published a new article in @prxjournal.bsky.social which explores the implementation of European-funded #migration policies in #Senegal through migration information campaigns.
Discover it here π

In our latest article, we discuss why migrant returnees in Senegal get involved with European-funded migration information campaigns, which aim to dissuade irregular migration. We find that they engage in what we call 'strategic compliance'. www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....
Marketization in public & nonprofit services, driven by New Public Management (NPM) thinking, has normalized lean staffing & outsourcing. Efficiency is the promise. But what happens to mission-driven work & public value when the market logic dominates? 𧡠1/

Palestinian children have been killed at a rate of more than one child per hour during Israel's war in Gaza.
βA whole classroom of children killed every day for nearly two years,β UNICEFβs executive director said.

NEW: updated long-run gap in voting between young men and women in Germany:
Gender divide continues to widen, but contrary to what is often assumed, young men continue to vote roughly in line with the overall population, while young women have swung sharply left.
