Iβve had 4 hot lobster rolls in the past 3 days and I canβt believe I have to go back to eating regular food this weekend #maine
It was a picture perfect day to explore the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens.
Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Cadillac Mountain, Ship Harbor Trail, Bass Harbor Light, hot buttered lobster rolls, and blueberry pie. Thank you Acadia.
Made it up to Bar Harbor Maine. Walked across the sand bar to Bar Island during low tide and had a spectacular lobster roll with an equally spectacular view.
Kicked off the week off by playing the worldβs longest mini golf hole.
Today I actually finished an entire notebook and I feel like that means I get to go buy several more to replace it because I proved I will use them.
Soaking up the beauty of a New England summer with a swim at Profile Falls in Bristol, NH.
Visiting the home office this week and it was too nice tonight to stay in the hotel so I headed to Fire Island and walked the trail to the lighthouse. The deer there are fearless. They must be an absolute menace.
Balcony season is the best season
Saw some beautiful views of the colors of the Great Salt Lake today from the air.
My laptop died, and I was immediately humbled by a 21 year old Geek Squad employee when I brought it in. I have secured a new laptop, but was humbled again by the powerful new webcam. This is what getting older means.

Went to the stunning carousel bar last night. It actually spins! Each chair was painted with a different animal and in 30 minutes we did 2 full rotations. It was a really fun experience, and the cocktails were great too!
New Orleans day two featured a cooking class at the New Orleans School of cooking where we made gumbo, blackened fish amandine with pecan rice, and bananas foster! It was so fun and so delicious.
Oh good to know! I saw ads for it at the airport.
Our first afternoon exploring New Orleans was a success!!
A foggy morning walk before the St. Patrickβs Day parade

Saw this very distinguished gentleman out for morning stroll as well today.
Had a full house today in Michigan learning about the patterns in evidence that help us understand mass extinction events!
I saw Rule Breakers in a theater tonight, inspired by the true story of the Afghanistan womenβs robotics team. It was a great movie and I hope lots of people see it and feel its various messages. It would be great for math/science classes to see but itβs so much more than a STEM story.
