I agree, but there is a difference in states that are passing laws and the federal government ruling via executive order. One can change quickly depending on the sitting president, one is unlikely to change as certain states slip further into fascistic behavior.
At this point, why would anyone choose a school in a state actively censoring itself to capitulate to political actors?
We are quickly entering a phase in our history as a country where you have to choose a university based on the state it exists in if you want a quality education that doesn’t leave information out based on political and theological ideology.
