Rogue made some excellent beers. They were the rarest beast, making stylistically correct, traditional beer but with a distinctly American twist. They were a tremendously important player, and America abandoned them. Sums it up really.

No idea, but that’s irrelevant.

Those fixed stools are to be found in the USA at various types of bar, often in diners, and also low end chain restaurants like Applebees.

LOL! Me too. I have to check myself. But, since we’ve started, I think Fullers Vintage Ale, Gouden Carolus Blue, and Avec Les Bons Vœux are right there in all of my top 15 top 5s!

Honestly, this just isn’t a very good beer.

Although imports have been generally devastated here in the US in the last 10 years, VITUS remarkably remains on shelves here. It’s a super beer. That Aecht is one that is hard to source here.

Feeling groovy. Not so much after those results in the past 24 hours.

Well OK, but if this is the price of survival, I’m buying palettes of it. FWIW and IMO, the re-introduction of Green as a core beer created an instant classic.
