There is something they are not telling us? What could it be? Maybe all parties already break the rules with regards to this so they know it has to be passed to not get anybody in trouble? Mayne they know the rules are broken and they know they can not be enforced so taking away the rules makes fair

Based upon how wars are playing out in recent times Canada's military should not be spending huge amounts of money on it's air-force for defence. Canada should spend the money on drones and missiles.
I re-watched the clip and I think I may have singled out a small part of the clip as more important than it should have been to the complete point. Likely because I have seen a lot of the "Iran bad so OK to attack" propaganda in recent time.

I think my reaction to your original post was how it lines up with how I interpreted your comments on a video in the last couple of days. It sounded to me like the usual US propaganda where the war is justified because Iran is a bad guy and nothing else.

The other social media site Twitter pulls me in because it seems to have so much more about the Iran-USA-Israel war but most of it is just made up. Twitter is like the National Enquirer while Bluesky is like traditional media because what you see you can have more trust in.
Imagine voters actually cared about the policies and not just the party's talking points!
Imagine Canadian politicians were expected to present their thoughts on policy and legislation in the same way @mgeist.bsky.social does! We would actually know if they knew what they were talking about or are just being told how to vote.
