I found the perfect birthday card for my neighbor’s daughter, who’s celebrating her second birthday!

No matter the age of the birthday celebrant, I always make sure to get a card. Even if a toddler can't read it now, save the card and gift it to them on a future birthday.

Woman just gave me a compliment in Spanish and when I didn’t understand she went and got someone else to say it to me in English. Forgot the compliment because my heart was overpowered by her getting someone to translate. That was so sweet and just hella gased me for the second half of my workout. 😭

I met the kindest thrift shop owner today. Truly, I’m praying that everything works out for her in life. Though life isn’t always easy, it’s inspiring to meet people who, despite it all, remain good and extend kindness to others. May we all meet people like her and be like her as often as we can. 🤍

I don’t know what it is about blogging, but it’s always been my most therapeutic outlet.

It’s a mental declutter, that helps me reflect, process emotions, and connect with others in ways that feel both healing and empowering.

Grateful for my grandmother and mother who through prayer, chat and laughter tonight reminded me that they will always rise in all ways spiritually to cease all things + people who attempt to pain me. “Oh baby, don’t you worryyy about anything else.” 😭 Okay Mom. 💖🥹🪄

Grateful for the profound insight, perception, and understanding I have. Thankful for the ability to discern when negative people/ forces arise, and for the wisdom to recognize whether a person is trustworthy and safe.

I'm not a person who goes to war with people. I'm not passive aggressive. I don't need to make you feel small. I don't need to keep score.

My response is simple: I will minimize our interactions and channel my energy into excelling at what I do.

While this week brought the unwelcome discovery of two individuals attempting to sabotage me, it has paradoxically been marked by several high points.

I know what I'm doing and how hard I'm working. And why I'm choosing not share any or much of it.

Despite battling physical limitations today, I ended on an unexpected, uplifting call from my boss. The conversation left me feeling heard and validated, and appreciated and acknowledged for my strong performance this past week.

I’ve rescued 14 dogs and placed 12 of them with families of military veterans struggling with PTSD. The other two, I kept. Sadly, I lost Nova to cancer last year, and now we’re down to one—Pringles Pringleton III. He’s a cat lover, and I’m sure he misses the companionship of another animal.

🥹 My application to adopt a kitten was approved, and I’ve decided to name her ✨’ Pixel’! ✨ I’m already browsing Etsy for all the cutest pink accessories for her. I’m beyond excited — I even had to pull over on the highway to squeal and celebrate when I got the text message. 🥹 Pictures coming soon!

I received a shoutout from a colleague today, and it made my day. This recognition was exactly what I needed. When I’m focused on meaningful work instead of being tasked with work that feels less significant, it’s easy to lose sight of the impact I’m making.

My therapy session today was absolutely perfect! Last week, I sent my therapist a list of things I wanted to discuss to help set myself up for a peaceful week, and all of her strategies worked wonderfully. I took the same approach this week, and the session went just as smoothly.

Productive weekends make weekdays so much more enjoyable.

Woke up feeling renewed.

Happy to begin again, after being affirmed. I’m a passionate person when it comes to all areas of my life, that’ll never change, so as long as I’m being purposeful, I’ll always be passionate. 🤍

Trust is vital in any professional relationship, so when it’s broken, I’ll never trust you again.
