Just so we're all clear, this is a war crime and would be punishable by life or death under U.S. law.

Indeed, but European leaders are more likely to consider the justification of any military action....and there is very little.

This looks like America's next Vietnam disaster.

It is shameful that Labour has continued the work of the Tories in keeping those dependent on student loans in debt to make sure they have that burden and don't go above their station.

The point of education is surely to improve opportunities and add value to the economic capacity of the UK

Essentially, Trump is trying to drag other countries into his expansionist invasion of Iran, whihc is ultimately the objective.

He needs to be hung out to dry, it will be much better in the long run.

Student debt is effectively preventing my daughter from progressing in her career. She turns down small promotions because all it will do is increase the deductions from her salary of student debt. Her boss keeps pushing her, but she’s reluctant to take on extra responsibility for no money. Very sad

Absolutely...if you allow poor people to get a university education then burned them with debt to ensure they remain disadvantaged.

It's a way to increase inequality. Those with wealth will be able to gain the advantage without the burden of debt. Your options and risk taking will look different.

But Reform and Farage are a virtual creation of the media.

Without the heavy promotion (not reporting) of Farage and Reform over the last few years this tiny little man and his racist cult would never have seen the light of day.

The Green Party have won more elections since 2024 than Reform, they have collected more votes.

Yet Reform get all the TV coverage and the Green Party get none.

Yet Reform aren't as popular even when they are shoved down your throat.

Just 1.2% of MPs are Reform, yet Reform get 90% of the TV coverage in the UK.

It is beginning to look like the Epstein Files could expose a huge number of the worlds elite, the ones that own politicians and are above the law.

It will make the Jimmy Saville stuff look like the appetiser to the main event.

It is a shocking indictment of our system, but maybe designed to keep graduates dependent on the system as a result of the huge burden of debt.

When I visited Jysvaskyla Uni, teacher training course 20 yrs ago, I was so impressed that all students completed Masters - and all primary trainees had 🎹 lessons (these were reserved for Music mains option at my uni with £ contribution by student) and children in school ate pear barley at lunch!
