Mastodon feels more dead than Bluesky tbh.
Twitter aka X has become unusable in recent days. The entire algorithm is pushing far-right extremists into the feeds, people fetishising mob law, glorifying nazi propaganda, and a level of hate that's unprecedented.
I'm truly glad there are alternatives out there, including Threads and Bluesky.
Some countries that I hope adopt the β¬ within the next 10 years:

What about you? πΆ
Musst du nicht lΓΆschen. Aber ganz wie du magst.
Danke fΓΌrs VerstΓ€ndnis/Einsehen. Sehr begrΓΌΓenswert.
I was today years old when I learned that only a few pre-Indo-European languages are still alive today: several Caucasian languages... and Basque.
The entire planet - and Iranians in particular - would profit from a regime change in Iran.
Today is the day where it's okay to check your old abandoned X account. Elon Musk and Trump Trump are fighting publicly. So much that Tesla shares are in free fall. πΏπΏπΏ
Ich finde siezen ja furchtbar. Bin froh, in Berlin zu leben. π
Good movie indeed.
I can't even imagine, I'm sorry.
But: Your children know. And your children will (most likely) have the option to choose. In that sense, I suppose this is something positive now.
Very typical for German schools to have this conversation. We had the same debate when I went to school (and we didn't have the same technology yet), and so did my mother, I bet. π
It truly is a difficult topic, but from the technological standpoint alone, it is amazing what humans can achieve.
Impressive.
You can now screen embryos for >900 diseases and traits including cancer, heart disease, and alzheimerβs, before theyβre even born.
Makes me wonder about legal consequences if you purposefully choose a new human life to have a disease or short life span.

I was today years old when I learned that the Jesus resurrection story is nowhere to be found in the original scripts? It's just people some centuries later making it up??
And most gospels agreed he just died?
Christian mythology is so fascinating, yet so confusing.
I studied politics, I work in politics, I'm an EU citizen who regularly frequents Poland...
At what point am I allowed to comment on Polish politics? π
What a disappointing day for Poland.
Complete aura loss that Carinthia (a state in Austria) is called "KΓ€rnten" in German.
I just learned today that WITHIN the European Union, we have a monksβ republic (Mt Athos in Greece) where women are not allowed?? How is this legal???
Brexit means Brexit
In an ideal world, Latvia would win. #Eurovision #ESC

Iβm mostly here for Hazels performance. π
(Also, Iβm looking forward to Latvia.)
Hi BlueSky, weβre Volt Ireland!
Weβre a pan-European movement and political party active in over 30 countries. Our goal is to bring evidence-based, progressive, and pragmatic policies to Ireland and all of Europe.

War es in der Vergangenheit schon so ΓΌblich, vom "Vizekanzler" zu reden? #RegierungserklΓ€rung
Our civilisation is so close to the perfect artificially printed steak, and there are people out there who say "I only like meat if pain is involved".
Insane.
310 Yes votes, 307 No votes:
Friedrich Merz is the first leader of a parliamentary majority who didnβt become Chancellor after failing to reach the necessary majority of 316 votes today.
Unexpected. Worrying.
