Portland Open Studios was so much fun this year! I appreciate every person who walked through my studio doors β€οΈ

I had a crap-ton of paint (crap-ton is an official measurement, you know) leftover on my palette today so I smacked it onto some sketchbook pages. These will become backgrounds for future pieces for my oracle deckβfor the ones that make the cut.

In my experience, grief is not an emotion but a state of being that encompasses all emotions. Sometimes it engulfs you, eats you whole and spits you out. Other times it lays on the periphery, coloring your edgesβ¦
