The U.S. dodged a bird flu pandemic nearly 70 years ago. Can we do it again? By 1957, scientists had a significantly more sophisticated understanding of influenza, worrying them that a pandemic similar to that of 1918 could easily erupt, killing millions again.

Someone asked me where they could get a bird flu vaccine.

You cant. The vaccines we had for avian influenza are old as DIRT and are being used as the blueprint for updated vaccines now but all research in the US has been stopped by Trump so.
