Chip analysis so far :
BB GW1 - 22 points on the bench ✅
FH GW2 - 24 points gained on my non FH team ✅
OR could be better but happy at 1.3m OR at this stage.

Underwhelming FH, but still happy with the start.
Gyokeres cap would have been nice too, smallest of reds

A lot thinking Palmer would have surely hauled last night.
He’s still treated as a premium captain.
But in more than half a campaign he scored 4 out of Chelsea’s 27 goals.

Eye test shown he got into great positions without receiving the ball too, one of xG’s very few blind spots
Nice solid score after the first half, 14 points & Cucurella to come from the BB too

Yeah I included Wirtz too, I think he's still got avenues to points so even if he takes a while to get used to the league, he might still get a few assists.
Yeah agreed.
There might be more explosive options in the short term (Ekitike?), but Salah still dependable.
Once his minutes lower to 75-80 mins is where we'll see a drop off from Salah, but don't see that happening.
Yeah, still feel Salah is a solid captain option in any week just to get that one return.
Very impressed by Ekitike - nearly included him after the CS
Yeah Ekitike looks great tbh - I nearly put him in after his performance in the CS.
Get the feeling xMins will be the downfall of Salah - once they taper off, he'll lose the ability for these late counter attack goals.
Having watched that match last night, what's your initial instinct about your FPL strategy?
Salah still most dependable?
Non Salah strategies - centre around Wirtz/Ekitike?
Is no Liverpool attack possible if returns continue to be spread?
Early doors, but at least this provides a debate.

Good luck all.
Gone aggressive this week, BB active.
Then FH2, with this squad looking good in GW3 (hopefully!)
#FPL
Starting to settle on a draft & strategy now.
Wirtz & KDH or Gakpo & Rutter the main decision to make.
BB1, FH4, WC7

Bruno would have got close to 200 points with the def contribution changes - and that was feeding Hojlund all season. Imagine if a proper striker comes into finish those chances.
Current thinking on changes to FPL are mixed, but do love a bit of change.
The roll to 5ft embraced the patient lot, the additional chips will embrace the impulsive lot, so everyone should have a piece of the FPL pie one way or another

I'm in the minority but loved he way it snookered managers over a three week period, even if the way they utilised it didn't quite work, I loved the concept.
A topsy turvy 24/25, both personally and FPL wise, comes to a climax with a crazy GW38 bench boost.
Expecting rotation, but season is more or less over anyway. It’s been a strange one to get a handle on.

Transfer to Pereira very much on the cards for me
I can’t get the setup I want by including Hogh, so a GW1 Gulbrandsen (K) before switching to a Viking striker in GW2
He’s in now instead of Salah but it was a tough benching headache

Luck running out slowly, still well placed after the Myko bench nightmare.

Time for patience now.
The only small % chance is that he actually needs to bring Jackson on if Chelsea aren't winning.
But looking at the fixture run, this is the ideal fixture to sacrifice.
At the top level of the game, these decisions can be difference makers, very poor.

"I see other captains."
"In your dreams? While you're awake?"
"Running around like regular players. They don't see each other. They only see what they wanna see. They don't know they're captains."
"How often do you see them?"
"All the time."

It's no coincidence that players start performing badly when the team isn't doing well.
He's not a robot even though some use that emoji, and other factors like confidence come into it.
The word variance gets peddled about but sometimes we need to look deeper into why it happens.
Bad week came at last. 2.8k > 16k
Bad cap choice, should have done Foden to Saka two weeks ago, but still in a good place so can't complain.
Saka & Jackson certainly coming in, then need to choose on the low priced mid to enable it.
