I say you lean into it with the most absolutely painful puns like this, and ones that don't even make sense to say. "Yarrbula, avasteroid me maties!"

Quasarrrgh!
Love this change!
This sounds REALLY cool! Definitely gonna check this out!!
Oh, definitely! The first 5 games are the 'retro-est' of the bunch I'd say, and there's lots of real gems sprinkled throughout. I'd recommend Party House, Max & Mini, Valbrace, Night Manor! That's a good selection of genres and playstyles, so hopefully something in there will appeal to you! :D
Exactly how I've been playing it as of late, lol! First the wait for Donkey Kong, then Trails in the Sky, and next, Digimon Story!
Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.
OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.
Thank YOU for sharing your awesome art and ideas, dude! Everything you do is amazing, and honestly I should be commenting way more often about how much I love all of it π
Another amazing design! I just got done playing through Cyber Sleuth in anticipation of Time Stranger, and this feels like it would fit right in. Perfectly captures the unabashedly-cool aesthetic of Digimon!
To me, it instantly escalated it from "surprisingly good comedy shounen" to "really compelling isekai story that actually CARES about the isekai element", you know? Still thoroughly a gag story, but I feel like the plot really came into its own around chapter 20 or so (IIRC)
Was going back through the thread (thanks again for these! my wife loves isekai so I'm collecting all the ones you recommend) and was curious how far you got into this one / if you kept reading it?
I was loving just the gags, but around chapter 30 it drops some AWESOME worldbuilding and twists.
Well deserved!!
Damn, absolutely stunning stuff!
I also really struggle with Souls-like games, and it took aw hile, but once Bloodborne 'clicked' for me it did get quite a bit easier. (Though I still haven't beaten it myself yet.)
Don't be afraid to grind for a while, try out other weapons to see if any feel more intuitive.
This trailer music is PHENOMENAL.
Wow, amazingly beautiful! I've never considered a hard case before, but this, this I'm considering!!
LOVE IT!!

My favorite is Aron!
The Fed says itβs data-driven. But when consumers start skipping car payments, itβs no rounding error; itβs a flashing alarm.
Taken from Sam Landman on FB but not sure if he is the artist. Graphic saying AI is for losers, reject fascism think for yourself. I can make Art thatβs ugly and bad all by myself thank you very much
This is why I don't like AI use for ANY reason, even if it's just to dunk on AI. Any use takes up resources and energy that could be better used doing literally anything else. Any "good potential use" for AI is annihilated by how much energy it takes to make it. Throw it in the trash, it's no good!
It's almost like it's the diff between a generation who got calls mostly from friends and one that gets calls mostly from scammera
Yeah, they did a fantastic job improving the combat! I really recommend seeing the game through, it certainly has its lulls here and there, but I found the finale to be fantastic. It's a strange and uneven game, but so was the first one honestly, and I loved my time with it nonetheless!
I haven't had the chance to play TOO much of this one myself yet, but I really enjoyed the demo of "Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom" and felt like it had a lot of potential. Super stylish and slick and fun, full of personality!
If you've played a lot of 3D platformers, you've probably played them, but Psychonauts and Psychonauts 2 are both fantastic!
I'd recommend both! They are very fun!
anyone saying this has also probably not paid any attention to the indie dev community's broad feelings on this subject, nor the ridiculously high quality of the art coming out of it year after year
"If you hate GenAI you're going to have to stop playing new games when they all start using it"
My brother in Christ, my backlog is literally thousands of games long. I have lifetimes worth of earlier titles to play, & I will gladly do that instead of boiling the oceans for a new CoD or whatever
So charming!! Absolutely love the personality of these two - and the LITTLE HAT ON THE BIRD!!
