I (obviously) think DEI is a moral and ethical imperative. Unis failing to get a firm definition for what does and doesn’t qualify is one of the more disappointing parts of this moment.

Especially for schools where your city is primarily URM people, shouldn’t you care about the people you serve?

Since I’ve been sharing bad news lately, it’s time for some good news.

Got a JIT request for my grant (yes, the one I had to renegotiate twice). Maybe I’ll get to stay in science after all.
