Last Thursday I hosted an event for @incisionpress.bsky.social. Four queer poets, all from culturally diverse backgrounds and the work that I read was so exciting. Some of the work, centred themes rather the forms, some of the work was pure ratbaggery.
The only people I'm talking to MAFS about are my gay friends and some straight male factory workers at my work.
Am I dumb for sometimes reading The Line of Beauty as a normalising treaty against ones who prioritise aesthetics above all else.

He is a Semtex Aristocrat.
He's the nephew of the AG in the NT. He got home detention for killing a man with his car on purpose then bragging about it and seriously injuring another man. They were both Aboriginal and it was a hate crime.

I'm on the bus home. The streets are riddled with potholes. The most high dense low income place in Australia and Chris Minns still hasn't got the trains working after 2 years.
Amazing what the Jewish people of Europe used to be. Karl Marx, changed the world. Freud invented psychoanalysis and helped the world. Einstein theoretical physics. Now their descendants in Israel are ghouls and jokes, mired in the small thinking and violent nationalism.

I can totally see why Big Hollywood is trying to make Connor Storrie our next big Heart Throb movie star. He has the classic actor pedigree of a child that moved around a lot, he's got old fashioned movie star looks too and is interested in proper, capitol F film.
That Tory ugh.
The thing about working in min wage service in Western Sydney, is seeing inequality directly in my workplace. I see families spend min $400 a week on eating out, which is my rent, they drive upwards of 60 to 100. There a different way to conceptualise class especially in service.
I was following some gay artists, but they were too much in the masc, make goods for a luxury market but art is an extension of their vanity.
Apparently during times of war more people take up knitting.
I think it's time to think about alternatives to Mardi Gras. Maybe it's time to give up the parade.
That better be for me
Ugh I'm at work and I've seen two gays who centre straight people and they are such unhappy boys.
