Spring is on the way in NC Piedmont. There will be detours but we will get there. We hit a record temp yesterday of over 80F.

Dogwood blooms will be at risk in upcoming cold snaps if the temperature goes to 28F or lower for two or more hours. Hopefully we will get to see a full bloom.

Our power went our this morning at around 6 AM. The ever vigilant Goose got into bed and crawled up on my chest to alert me. True to his word he stayed until the power came back on at 8:13 AM. Goose takes no chance when comfort or food are at risk.
