A hymn for the holy,
A sin in disguise—
His mistress in music,
And well-practised lies.

No #modest refrain;
Glissando will reign.
She slinks into places
True #harmony won’t claim.

Too proud for the altos,
Too base for the lead,
This semisoprano
Where shadows will feed.

Where the light begins

My latest attempt at #knitting is this chunky hat. Knitted on circular needles, this is my second hat and my first attempt at a cable pattern. I’m not sure about the cast on that I used but otherwise I’m quite pleased - it fits! 🧶
