I saw the sweetest thing today. My husband had a doctor's appointment, and Santa was in the waiting room giving out candy canes to the children. One little girl gave him a hug afterwards. With the crazy world we live in, it was nice to see there is still some joy and goodness around.
Count me in the minority of those who are still upset with the way Biden has been treated. So many have forgotten he walked into Trump's mess and did the best he could with many issues. Trump is now president again, and are we any better off? Obviously, not.

Now the person who caused so much grief gets to go back to the White House. Unbelievable.
We have lifted the Presidency up to an impossible standard. Even people who voted for him in 2020 have forgotten what difficult circumstances he came into. Did he do everything perfectly, no. But he deserves more credit and respect than he's gotten.
It was something many people appreciated, and he doesn't get enough credit for it. What a comfort to know he is now with the Lord whom he had such a deep faith in. Well done, good and faithful servant.
When Jimmy Carter was elected President, the country had just been through a difficult time. Nixon had resigned over Watergate, Ford had pardoned him, and it created a lot of tension. Carter showed that honesty and decency could be restored to the Presidency.
