@punkrockrunner
I run (almost) everyday and review the punk, hardcore, metal etc albums I listen to afterwards in an effort to find the perfect running album. Here’s my full list so far: tinyurl.com/5fmj6ee2 Suggest an album here: https://forms.gle/3nboPccsUrSnVGmu7

I haven’t kept up with the reviews but my first 100 are here: tinyurl.com/5fmj6ee2

Nah, this is likely just another attempt to inflate their already overinflated stock price and manipulate the markets. Fast forward to their earnings call “we shipped our first cybercab”
Oh, California you beautiful snowflakes. This is extreme cold?!?!
Not liking this because I’m afraid it might offend the other side.
Finished the year only missing 7 days without running, playing bball or some kind of workout. Under my yearly goal of 10. As per usual the music I run to dominated the top of my Spotify top songs. This year introduced a new trend: the songs we play in our dad rock band + songs I used to learn drums✌️
Light a fire to be the best player on a terrible team?
Cool. Check their record.
I’ve decided that Canada just needs a few good American Karens… hear me out. I just want to improve customer service and then that’s it. Close the border and enjoy your utopia. I plan to run on this platform in 2028. Watch out @mark-carney.bsky.social
@aircanada.bsky.social has such a bad product, and customer service it is literally effecting my relationships with my family. All the way through the experience is terrible and they will not help you if anything goes wrong (and it will). Don’t fly with them.
If the movie the mask was a guitar… ssssssmokin’! 😶🌫️
I’d hurt myself with that thing
Pausing doing reviews after I completed my goal of 100 albums but I will say the new DRAIN album is very good. #runningpunks #running #metal #hardcore
Ugh. I hate twelve strings. Why are you doing this? Fine… it’s beautiful.
This is beautiful
They had to remove him or otherwise the space time continuum would explode
Something I’m proud of
Ugh forgot the album cover
Road Signs and Rock Songs. If you really want to hear about it has a little pop punk bop to it. This album has some really well timed samples. It also has some subtle eclectic influences snuck in there. Song for a mix tape is really fun. What a great concept. Highly recommend for the next rainy day✌️
The first three songs are a really good start. Having fun in the rain. This is my first run in weather. Bad Case of Broken Heart is really catchy. This song has a little country rock tint to the guitar but also a little more aggression in the singers voice. The album gets a little slower around…
Giving up on love is the first song and it’s really fast and good. Love the little pauses throughout. My high school girlfriend loved this band and I remember listening to the second song a bunch when we broke up. Yeah, yeah, I’m emo. The next song I.O.U One Galaxy starts with a little piano riff.
Cold, rainy morning run to The Atari’s’ End is Forever. A little faster than their other albums specifically one with a certain cover. A really good pop punk album, filled with nostalgia lyrically and personally. Classic emo lyrics. All around good running partner 6.3/10 #runningpunks #running #punk
A special place to me before I lived there. It was like walking in the footsteps of the (gutter punk) gods. I finish my sprint to black and blue feeling super fast. The upbeat, catchy tunes fueling my run. Def found myself singing out loud which is a sign of a good album IMO. Monday was a funday ✌️
Side kick had a little different feel than the others. Love the chorus “my name is Tim and I’m a lesser known character.” Salvation was the single from what I remember. It’s catchy and is mostly song by Tim so it’s got that attitude. Tenderloins got an awesome bass line. Another song that made SF
The first song is Nihilism and it starts off. The scratchy guitar noises explode into fast paced punk. The second song is actually the best though. Radio is a classic and is covered by a bunch of other bands. This song meant a lot to me as a youth “when I got the music I got a place to go!”. So good
Needed something for me, this Monday so listened to Rancid’s Let’s Go, to hear some Matt Freeman bass lines. What a good choice. Their energy carried me today. Still a little rough around the edges compared to … and out come the wolves but has some real diamonds. 6.8/10. #runningpunks #running #punk
It always came back to me when I was traveling in other countries. Oh yeah, there’s a good cover of I fought the law too. This album holds up well. Even the political content feels pretty relevant today despite using some pretty outdated language. That’s punk rock though IMO. Happy Thursday peeps! ✌️
He said “fuck” was kind of soft. Like he was eating the words. In hind sight this is still a shocking thing to sing into a mic or on stage in the 80s. Life sentence is the next song of note, mostly because it’s faster and more angry than most of the other songs. Holiday in Cambodia is a great song
