Hopefully this year I will really read more than one just manga series... My manga backlog needs a bit of work.
there is a few pages where Uni feels like she being an unicorn is not good for Wakana or her feeling homesick, but this gets little attention and is just resolved pretty quickly without fanfare, without denouement. Is a short manga so is not too bad but I wish it lived up better to its potential.
but you would expect more of a work of an unicorn being summoned and potentilaly falling in love with a lonely girl, she is possesive indeed and she does some unicorn stuff, but the manga is more concerned about small hijinks than driving a stronger character narrative, and the elements are there
rather than a more fantasy oriented work with two characters with different values. Most of the chapters are just the girls going to the baths together and how Uni is very sticky and touchy with Wakana, or them joining a photography club, or Wakana making new friends, and this is not bad on itself
