As a Canadian, it seems to me the Democrats/the left are all too willing to be “the establishment”, which ultimately will always be a terrible challenge. They never seem to be willing to push their own party to actually advance beyond what they’ve already done.

It’s bonkers on so many levels. There’s literally no logical reason it should be this way.
That boggles my mind. I can literally fall down and shatter something and goto the hospital with nary a worry about it beyond “will it leave a cool scar?”.
Oh that’s our straight up super power, even with all its flaws. I’m helping my FIL with his cancer and can’t imagine paying for all the appointments with specialists and everything associated with the treatments. Only thing we’ve had to pay for is parking and the odd prescription.
