The European Values Study (EVS) is a large-scale, cross-national, repeated cross-sectional survey research programme on basic human values. It provides insights into the ideas, beliefs, preferences, attitudes, values and opinions of citizens all over Europe.

How does the local #context affect the #integration of #migrants? The BOnD project analyzes the effect of urban and rural contexts on #acculturation processes and on the ways in which cultural values influence the socioeconomic integration of migrants.

The representation corresponds to Zeuner's stereograms with a (cohort, age) diagram in the horizontal plane. The red lines represent censuses (cross-sections at fixed calendar years) and the blue lines represent the survival of cohorts.

(Zeuner, 1869, Figure 1). The Zeuner sheet. Z is the number of individuals born at time Y and still alive at age X.
