This is where it gets interesting. When you remove POTUS and the VP, some of the Supreme Court, the whole cabinet, a good number of Senators and the House, how do we move on? Who is placed in the leadership? Who is in charge of the trials? This is going to be a long and painful process.
They are not here to make your life safer.
No one can call what this officer did appropriate. Ice officers need to be held accountable for the crimes they commit.
Break the law, face the consequences. That goes for ICE agents who commit illegal acts outside of their official functions.
