Yes it uses an analogy perfectly appropriately to illustrate an action which is hard to take but relies on collective action. It is not saying it is a strike in all respects and neither does it use the term scab. I think you have read too much into an analogy.
The Collective has not called it strike action and, like you, I don't use the word scab for anyone other than an actual scab. I am happy to explain this to you but puzzled as to where you got this information from?
Colin, it is not a snap boycott. The Collective waited till the end of the transfer window and given how abysmal it was, and how angry people are they wanted a boycott of the very next home game. All games are paid for in advance by season ticket holders so that is unavoidable.

My son inlaw is in that business and the amount of hours he's worked on 'trial' shifts he's not been paid for is shocking.
@scottishtuc.bsky.social Went into Off the Rails, wee cafe on Dundas St today. The lassie said she was on a 'trial' shift. Asked if she was getting paid - the guy training her smirked and went red in the face - I took that as a no and left. Disgusting abuse of young workers.

You don't need to own any shares to join the Trust. You become a shareholder in common when you join. One share is enough to get you entry to the PLC AGM though which you might want to do particularly this year.
