Some points must be given for the tagline. Chefβs kiss ππ
Also of note, the underrated comic book movie, βThe Phantomβ (1996). π

American Gothic (1988)
Dir. John Hough
A βnot talked about muchβ, nice little Canadian slasher with Yvonne De Carlo and Rod Stieger in the roles of a demented Ma and Pa in a bizarre family.
Creepy and unsettling with several WTF moments.
Great movie. Phenomenal performance. π
Dear Streaming Services,
No. I do not want a movie to automatically play after my movie has finished.
Nor do I want a different show to autoplay when my show has concluded.
The only time I want something to autoplay is the next episode of the show I'm currently watching.
This is a great sports movie. π
Excellent thrillerβ¦
I think βThe Loved Onesβ (2009) is a pretty good example of this. π
The English language version of this is, in my opinion- Awful!
This is one of my favourite animated movies, but the Disney dub is significantly dumbed down.
Poster for 2019βs βThe Hole in the Groundβ
Itβs that time of year to watch some Irish horror movies

I actually didnβt hate it. π€·ββοΈ
βWing Commanderβ (1999).
Obviously. π
It would have to taste better than this toothpasteβ¦
There was actually a follow-up to this one: βThe Two Jakesβ (1990).
βοΈ This one. This one right here.
βLaputa: Castle in the Skyβ (1986), or any other Miyazaki film. π
He directed βUpββ¦ The director of βUpβ is a dick.
Absolute classic. π
βThe Comic Strip Presents: Mr. Jolly Lives Next Doorβ π
Drop something GREENβ¦
The divisive response to βThe Brideβ only makes me want to see it more.
Some films arenβt made for everyone, and thatβs an appealing prospect. πββοΈ
Before The Bride! (2026) there was The Bride (1985). Jennifer Beals plays the Bride/Eva. Clancy Brown plays The Creature/Viktor. Sting plays Frankenstein! Itβs a curious film that runs too long. But the late David Rappaport plays empathetic circus dwarf Rinaldo and is a standout.
βMikeβs Murderβ (1984). π
βMicrocosmosβ (1996). π
βThe Vanishingβ remake gets a lot of hate, but I think itβs kind of a fun companion piece. π€·ββοΈ
One of the best horror films of the 70βs, in my opinion. Terrific suspense!
