What were once almost certain fundable scores have become coin flips and what used to be likely grants have become aspirational, leading to fewer awards.

Simplify your life by nondimensionalizing
Iβm patenting a constant anti-unit of temperature called the Bernard. 1 B = 10^30. Then 30 Β°F is just 1.92 B and 100 Β°F is 2.19 B. The beautiful thing is then 1 = 1 B/B.
One added benefit is that at 1 we have Ξ² = T.
Thatβs why I personally get rid of the ambiguity and just have 0 = 0 K and 1 = the Planck temperature. Itβs much clearer to have 30Β°F = 1.92*10^-30 and 100Β°F = 2.19*10^-30. Avoids any confusion.
FWIW any openai model I tried seems to be unable to understand the idea
