Of course the suppressed Liberal Party election fail review has been leaked already.

Yeah... I threw a tantrum at the proposal and told the AEC and anyone who disagreed with me reading it that they were wrong, as is their right to be so, but definitely were. So just heads up on that.
Note to self, don't drink and do submissions that are publicly recorded.
PULL THE PLUG on Marinus - We don't need it, don't want it, and can't afford it. Further connection to the mainland only increases power prices. Not decreases them. #politas
Just saw the map, joy, my life just got a LOT harder, and easier.
Cheers Ben, link's been really helpful. Interesting day.
Any updates on Brighton LGA - crossing fingers we're not thrown in the hellscape that is Clark
Former SFFP candidate Steve Loring is banging on about abolishing parliamentary pensions and benefits again. SFFP actually campaigned on 3 elections ago.
Great idea Steve - it was done July 1 1999. Only almost 3 decades behind the times. F**kwit.

First planning meeting went well!
This year's merch will be insulated coffee mugs like the yeti branded ones. And of course, a Jerry pin.
Lots of things happening, check out Cafe Connections on Facebook for more.
Pretty concerning to hear from family that direct flights from King Island to mainland Aus are being stopped from mid year.
One nation is a vile infection upon our society.
Single frame. Top left fade-out vignette of Alex Pretti; bottom right fade-out vignette of the ICE agents crowding (from recent footage of them murdering Alex Pretti). Text in seriffed font: βThe only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.β Hand corrected in red pencil to say: βThe only thing that stops a good guy with eyes + a phone is a bunch of armed federal goons with absolute impunity.β
Bad guys with guns.
My @smh cartoon.
Single frame. Chris Minns stands beside a massive tonne weight marked NSW POLICE being lowered by a crane. Visible sticking out from under the weight are hands, legs, a womanβs face, a keffiyeh and placards saying βNO TO GENOCIDEβ, βFREE PALESTINEβ, βHERZOG OUTβ, βNO TO VIOLENCEβ Minns says, βThst should socially cohere them nicely.β
Cohesion.
My @smh cartoon.
He deserves better, hope other cartoonists do their take on it. I just mashed it together on the bus home x
I have a generic paint app on my phone. I grabbed a free vector image of a flagpole, stretched it to be taller, made hue shifted the ball on top gold, and used an image of his tea towel that I distorted with the 'flag' option. Rotated it and tried to draw in some rope. Then added the text.
Photo of the windows next to my desk of the a framed Kudelka rusted on bingo tea towel and print of his Tassie devil.
Jon Kudelka was not just the creator of the best tea towel in Australian history, and a great cartoonist and artists, but he was a superb friend, incredible husband and dad.
Goddamn I will miss him
Cartoonist Jon Kudelka has passed away, his wife Margaret has confirmed.

We have lost a legend. Being considered influential enough to make it as a kudelka cartoon was an aspiration of many. Always with his finger on the pulse to sum up the social commentary of a given issue with his artwork. The days shine a little duller without him here.
Vale John Kudelka.
Former scandalous Liberal Lyons candidate tipped to run for Tas Nats or PHON. #politas
We're planning to build on this year's Bridgewater Jerry Photography Competition. Got an idea? Tag along!
It strikes me as odd that flag shagging far right conservatives love to wear the Australian flag on/as clothing despite being against the rules for displaying it.
It's a denigration of the symbol they purport to love so much.
And yet, come every Australia day...

Indeed, I don't keep much of an eye on Facebook engagement, a significant portion of it is bot farms. We could go on for ages about who and how and why people vote the way they do.
I wouldn't have said the women voters of PHON were a significant amount of their demographic to bother mentioning? It's mostly just pissed off old white guys incapable of nuanced thought.
Their largest hurdle is going to be appealing to a broader demographic than their current one of middle aged white men in peri urban or rural communities who lack a higher education & the capacity for postformal thought processes.
My first remarks since being arrested last night.
It's totally departmental, not ministerial. But it is directly impacting LSE communities that are constantly called part of Greater Hobart, then treated like a regional community.
Gets better. There was also talk of winding back the Hobart Urban Growth Boundary in a couple of key suburbs because State Growth already can't service those areas effectively with public transport.
Fun fact time!
New residential infill sites in Greater Hobart are being turned down by State Growth after SG had funded studies into said potential developments. . .
Reason given: because of Metro's growing inability to meet demand.
More to this throughout the year.

Cunts.
HCC alderman Elliot is also an endorsed member of the Nats. @kevinbonham.bsky.social . Representing the bush battlers of Battery Point presumably.
