Hi! I'm now working on controller support for the Steam version of Lunar Mystery 2103!
I don't know when it'll be ready, but it's coming along now. The buttons will be configurable to suit, and can be used in conjunction with keyboard!
Now I'm happy to announce that Lunar Mystery 2103, my first ever Steam release, is now live! 2 years of work is finally over and now I can say I've got a game on Steam!

Hi everyone!
With the success of the Kickstarter, I'm happy to announce the Lunar Mystery 2103 is now available to buy over on itch.io!

We did it! 213 backers! ยฃ12,226 raised! That's incredible! Much, much more than I expected!
There's only 1 week before the Kickstarter for Lunar Mystery 2103 ends! Thanks to all those who have backed so far!

And as a bonus for the Kickstarter campaign launch, I can confirm a Steam release is official:

All Kickstarter backers will have the option to get a Steam key (or ROM), but the game will be for general sale later on in 2026!
Wishlist now!
And we are live! Lunar Mystery 2103's Kickstarter campaign officially begins!

I'm feeling pretty confident about the Steam release of Lunar Mystery 2103. I've been doing some testing, and now I've submitted it to Valve for a review!
Providing everything is okay, this will be an option for backers on the Kickstarter!
The official trailer for Lunar Mystery 2103 is now live!

I got the test box for Lunar Mystery 2103 back today and I think it looks great. There are a few things I'm going to tweak now I've seen it physically, but overall very pleased!
Dev update: I have now begun putting the Kickstarter details together! I'm looking to improve on my previous two campaigns so I'm doing some extra research before putting a "Coming Soon" page up, but it's beginning!
DEV UPDATE:
So Chapter IV is fairly buggy compared to the previous parts in the game, but I am working my way to getting through it bug-free.
I'm also doing a game-wide boss review; some were too easy, and some too hard.
Otherwise, it's going well!
Always check your landing gear before heading to the moon!
Progress Report:
The Prologue to Chapter III are now largely bug free. Chapters IV to the Epilogue are complete, but need the same level of testing as I've given to the first half of the game.
I reckon a November Kickstarter is possible!
Captain Jaxon keeping warm on those cold winter nights (that's every night when the temperature controls have failed)!
So I'm month two into solid bug fixing now as the game's content is finished.
Playing the same sections again and again is really making me appreciate how far the game has come since I started out making it, and how much more advanced it is compared to the The Train and Part 2!
Hello all! I have released version 0.2.1 of the playable demo, which addresses the bugs found during NottsVGE 2025 (and more!)

Join me today and tomorrow at #NottsVGE! Hope to see you here!
Hello all, I've finally released version 0.2.0 of Lunar Mystery 2103! It's been a number of months since the last release, and this one comes as prep for the upcoming NottsVGE event! Enjoy!

I've also got some exciting news regarding a Steam release! (No promises at present, but initial tests are looking positive).
Good news! I've finished the entire game's core content as a rough copy!
This now means the game is playable end-to-end, but is buggy and is missing the optional content I want to add in, so it's onto those next!
So we've past the 1 year mark of development of Lunar Mystery 2103!
I've nearly finished the main game's content too! Then it'll be onto bug fixing, extra content (more rooms, secrets, etc.).
It's looking like it could be an early 2026 release!
What on earth could this tunnel be leading to? Why is it so broken? What has Captain Jaxon uncovered!?
Chapter V is the final chapter! I'm finally developing the end of the game!
There is of course bugs to fix, and stuff I want to improve, but this means that within a couple of months the game will be fully roughed out!
Two ships!? What has Captain Jaxon uncovered?
With all this sunshine, it's worth a play of Lunar Mystery 2103!
Hope you're having a great weekend!
After 3 days I think I've resolved a pretty major bug! It requires a full retest of the game so far, big that's fine by me!
