Lawmakers ask for a judge to step in on Epstein document release Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif., want a special master to ensure that all Epstein documents are released in accordance with the law.

It's three weeks after the deadline to release the Epstein files.

Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna have now formally asked a federal judge to appoint a special master or independent monitor to ensure that all materials are released in compliance with the law.
