Ableton. FL was just too messy for me. I also tried Traktion's Waveform back in the day since its free. Decent DAW for the free price tag.

Music history? Like all of history? A lot of folks who developed what we know of "western" music that might be in the conversation or someone like Andres Segovia, who was largely responsible for bringing guitar into conservatory curriculum and transcribing classical works for the guitar. 🤷♂️
