Hi, Epstein did not create the GCs. Researchers for the last ten years have been telling you over and over about the collection of forces that resulted in the GCs. There is no conspiracy. Just a bunch of political actors collaborating in their mutual interest.
I think the fact it is being used as one is a mechanism by which the whole thing can be defused without any actual consequences to the abusers.
Because it is now seen as political theatre and not horrifying abuse, authority has all the justification it needs not to act.

Since there's a lot of fucked up shit circulating from the newest Epstein files release, remember that there's no moral obligation look at this stuff. Traumatizing yourself by passively taking in horrific information without any way to translate that into useful action isn't activism.

man i got so much shit for saying stuff as entirely observable and banal as "sexual violence against children and young people is structurally embedded in society." i never suggested anything as conspiratorial sounding as what turned out to be true. and yet.
The fact that there is no real organised effort to inflict consequences on those in the Epstein files and they are instead just being used as political entertainment should tell you that none of our current democratic or justice systems are fit for purpose. Not one.
