Trey Wilson (the manager here) is so good in this. He also starred in RAISING ARIZONA (1987) as Nathan Arizona. Sadly, he passed away the year after #BullDurham was released.

The DBAP is one of the premier minor league parks. If you're ever in the mid-atlantic area try to catch a game...you can usually walk up before the game and get tix.

Back then the Bulls were a High-A team. In 1995 they built their new stadium (the Durham Bulls Athletic Park...the DBAP) and became a triple-A team. I now live about an hour away and try to get to 1 game a season.

I lived in Durham in the late 80s and early 90s and used to go to the Durham Athletic Park (DAP, where they filmed this) to watch the Bulls play.
