oh yea absolutely, if your not in the discord or following the community closely it does just look like only 1 cdlc ever released and thats that, nothing else is happening. i have no idea if there *will* be more cdlc that releases, but we can only hope at this point i think

as someone with experience working on a "creator dlc" project (potentially, never submitted and has since been canceled), i can tell you it hasnt been abandoned, its just that nothing has been made cuz its REALLY hard to make anything on the same scale as the official DLCs with no budget at all lol

i think its fine to move on from certain things in your life, and i think Ligby the perfect metaphor for that feeling.
he appears in your life and makes a huge difference, but then before you know it, he's gone, back to scuba practice.

if you wanna make your own summary of mods, i've made this template that you can feel free to use, happy modding!

Image is a grid view of images with the title above the whole thing saying "CatCube's 2025 Summary of Mods", under June is an image of the A Hat in Time Mod Direct mini thumbnail saying "hosted and premiered the first new mod direct in 4 years." next in August is the mod icon for The Galactic Shred: Cheesy Quest mod, with a tiny icon for The Purple Birdhouse mod in the bottom left corner saying "also helped hit streamer/youtuber Wonderfish make this." On October it says on a black background "No Mod*" implying somethings there, under that is text that says "released a big update for in-dev project." November is the mod icon for Sunken Resort mod with the text "helped with a big update." Lastly is December which has the mod icon for Maximum Metal which has the text "helped with a big update here too." Every other month not mentioned is a black background with the words "No Mod" on it.

wow what a year, didnt release that much but made BIG progress on lots of different things (hat and not), some of which will hopefully see the light of day *next* year! cheers to everyone for making this year a good one despite everything going on in the world, love y'all 🫶
