Bellini Bubbles with Baah yarn in a fingering weight. Assigned pooling with these gorgeous colors was so much fun. So happy with my little galaxy. Focusing on my small bubble helps to maintain sanity. #knitsky π§Ά

Oh that's pretty. My brain is breaking in the best way!
When I saw this Baah galaxy yarn, I knew a Bellini Bubbles shawl would make her shine like a Stary Night.
That looks right to me! β€οΈ
I love how you clearly have to use one arm to keep her far enough away for a photo. Her side eye at being kept from snuggles! πππ€£
I see four soups if you count your drink β¨
I started knitting my red hat. Yarn is smooshy cashmere by dream in color, colorway is Poppy.
As I stitched and chatted in the knitting circle, I realized how valuable it is to share physical space with your community to freely spread ideas and information. Not an algorithm in sight. #knitsky π§Ά
I love the black tapes!!
New Year's Eve, and 125 years old today is 'The Darkling Thrush' by Thomas Hardy.
(And when I myself read this poem, I often find myself becoming aware of that blessΓ¨d Hope from that frail and gaunt thrush β¨οΈ)
One of the cotton fingerless gloves done. Pausing to whip up some convertible mittens for the tiny humans cause, baby, it's cold outside.
There were so many new techniques in the brioche patterned glove. It was my first attempt at a rolled hem. I swapped the MC and CC accidentally. Oops! π§Ά #knitsky
The baby hat was entirely too big, as it fit even my large grape of a noggin. Attempt number two is far cuter and more aptly sized. #knitsky π§Άπ§
I've posted a few whites this week, so here's a bright for a change. Unicorns and glittering hearts on bright pink.

It's not holding its shape at all. I might need to go down a size?
I may have been overly ambitious trying my hand at brioche patterned knitting. The chart makes my head spin. Cotton doesn't seem to be elastic enough to make brioche sparkle, but I love the colors! It will be a beautiful learning process either way. I need something different after gift knitting. π§Ά

Solstice Blessings π
In the run up to Christmas the Winter Solstice, one of our earliest celebrations, is often overlooked .
I handstitch this piece in acknowledgement, for ritual & celebration of the Solstice π
And so the wheel turns once more.

Baby hat complete, sans bear ears. The first of a pair of Christmas slippers for my youngest brother are nearly complete. The end is in sight! #knit #knitsky π§Άπ
My great gramma used to make these slippers for everyone each year. Tradition β€οΈ
After all, there's only four more sleeps til Christmas βπ
Love your nail polish. Stunning color!
Thanks for the tips! I think I go too tight on the swift so everything catches and snags while winding. Can't wait to wind my next skein. π
Chugging away on the toddler hat and picked out gorgeous yarn for my sibling's slippers. #knitsky π§Ά
After all there's only 5 more sleeps til Christmas π
There's plenty of time left for a Xmas toddler hat and 3 pairs of slippers, right? π§Άπ
Time to lock in. #knitsky #6moresleeps
I fell asleep watching last night, so I woke up at 4am to continue π₯°
I detest i-cord, but you are right. This is the prettiest bind off I've ever seen, and why is it so much more fun than straight up i-cord?! ππ
One more row, then time to tackle my first i-cord bind off. I'm so sad the Advent calendar shawl is almost done. It's been such a fun journey watching the colors blend and unwind. My inner child loves the Lisa frank vibe!
I think it's time for more socks after this shawl. #knitsky #wip π§Ά
Fuchsia complete. On to the first of 2 purples before bind off. Progress is slowing as the rows are lengthen toward the end of the triangle shawl. The colors are pretty, so I don't mind. β€οΈ
If only I could get my thoughts to settle while the needles fly. It is still too noisy up here. π§ π§Ά #knitsky
Red is done. Fuchsia is flying by. The triangle shawl steadily grows while sunlight slips giving way to night. #knitsky #wip π§Ά
Session 81 marks the end of a level 1 to 20 campaign. Sad to see it done, glad we "won at d&d." I'll miss my charismatic barbarian. π₯²
Several rows completed during today's session. We're blending in the 4th of 7 colors. Next is fuchsia and the last two purples. #knitsky #d&d π§Άπ²ππ°
My hands and wrists have been aching this past week, and I blame the bamboo circulars. Picked up a set of Lykke Colour this morning, and it is a night and day difference. Knitting with them makes my teeth dance in the best way, plus who doesn't love a set of rainbow tools? ππ§Ά #knitsky
The purple stripes are done and the gradient section begins. These two mini skeins are playing so well together. I'm spoiled to bits by this cashmere blend, hand-dyed by my local yarn shop. It's hard to put down as I want to see how the next row of color unfurls. #knitsky #wip
I fell asleep an hour into last night's episode of critical role, so it is on this morning while adding more rows to the shawl. I'm back to opening the remaining boxes in order since I've scrounged out all mini skeins. π
2 more purpley stripes then starts the final blended section. #knitsky
Starting the final color of the Advent calendar shawl and planning for tomorrow's holiday baking activities.
Also eagerly waiting a couple more hours for the latest episode of critical roles campaign 4. π§Ά #knitsky #isitthursdayyet
Omg THANK YOU! I couldn't place what I recognized her from. π
