Classic day in the Chilterns yesterday with all the targets found and seen superbly!

The Great Reed Warbler showed superbly this afternoon! With over 20 Hobbies in the background devouring the emerging 4spots.

The Cranes at Willow Tree Fen are pretty awesome. The young aren’t always in view though, as the parents often keep them in the longer grass. #Cranes

4 planets all in view is pretty special. Venus is so close to us that it replicates the moon with it’s crescent!

A fun evening on Saturday at WWT Welney for the floodlit Swan feed. Over 200 Whoopers taking their grain and bonus Barn and SEO on the entrance road. One of those wildlife spectacles it’s difficult to experience anywhere else.

A chilly evening but pleased to find a Harvest Mouse feeding on nettles only yards from the house. Prior to using my thermal, this was a species which had always eluded me.
