And then 6 remains in last place. I hate The Trio. How do you go from a Hell Goddess to 3 geeks as the big bad?

Great stand alone episodes but the topics of depression, addiction and abusive relationships, it’s just a bit too heavy imo.

Season 5 has moved down a couple of spots. This used to be my second favourite season but on rewatch, it’s just a bit too depressing.

Dawn being introduced is so well done and I love Glory but too much misery for Buffy.

The Body should have won all the awards.

The final season is a funny one. I loved the darker vibe of it all especially Conversations with Dead People but the potentials take up too much of the story, sidelining core cast.

The final shot of Buffy smiling in the last episode always gets me in the feels.

Season 1 has moved up in my ranking. Yes the effects and the lighting are quite crunchy but it’s all a part of the appeal. Plus so many amazing episodes like Witch and Teacher’s Pet.

Seasons 2 & 3 are also peak, loved Spike & Drusilla and of course Faith.

Passions and Becoming Part 1 are genuinely some of the best TV I’ve ever seen.

Season 4 will always be my favourite. So many incredible episodes, I love the college setup, The Initiative and the introduction of Tara.

Best Episodes: Living Conditions, Hush, Pangs

That’s another Buffy the Vampire Slayer rewatch done. Still the best TV show ever made imo.

Season rankings have changed a wee bit since I last watched. For me it goes:

4 > 2 > 3 > 1 > 7 > 5 > 6
