It was such a beautiful day today. I spent some time in the backyard playing with and photographing our dogs. Then I spent some time in the front yard photographing birds. Oh yeah and it was super bright and sunny and I was wearing just shorts and a T-shirt.

Great day for an @southerntierrunningclub group run and bonus miles. Weather changes always throw me off. Didn’t know what to wear. Started off with a few light layers and ended up in just a T-shirt after the sun came out and heated things up. Kept the pace nice and comfortable.

On Friday for the first time in a while I went outside with the specific intention of just photographing birds. I recently filled the birdfeeders and I wanted to see what birds were around. There were a lot of Black Capped Chickadees.

I love big dogs and this beautiful Greater Swiss Mountain Dog is no different. So reminiscent of the Bernese Mountain Dogs that we have had it home over the years, but also quite distinct. They tend to look a little bigger and stronger and also the short hair is different. #photography
I did a new to me practice. I really liked this Chair Yoga practice as it gives me some movement and stretching that I can do right at my desk without any adjustments. If you are stuck at a desk you should give it a try.

Luckily the training plan called for a 30 minute run at an easy pace. I hit the paces that I was supposed to but it felt anything but easy. Especially the first mile. This was all I could muster. But still so happy to have run.
I was so excited to go home and run. It was sunny. The temperature was decent compared to most of this winter. Got outside and my legs had no juice. It was a struggle bus run all the way.
