It's 5¢ /barrel higher than last month.
An increase of 5 cents in the price of a barrel of oil translates to approximately 0.12 cents per gallon ($0.0012) at the pump.
The gasoline we are buying today was likely processed weeks ago, meaning it was made with cheaper oil.
