Today, CAIR sent a letter to Texas Governor Greg Abbott reminding him that we beat him in federal court the last three times he tried to shred the First Amendment to protect the Israeli government from criticism. And we are prepared to, God willing, to do it again. tinyurl.com/mry6d92s
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott designated the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations Tuesday.
The Senate has adjourned until 10 am on Wednesday. That means no final action tonight on the Epstein Files bill. The bill papers are still on the House side of the Capitol.
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just โdeemed as passedโ the Epstein resolution.
That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the Presidentโs desk.
Wow.
A federal judge on Tuesday ordered several Texas school districts to remove Ten Commandments displays from classrooms, issuing the ruling in a lawsuit brought by families who argue the postings violate the Constitution's ban on government-endorsed religion.
"President Trumpโs refusal today to condemn the Saudi Crown Princeโs role in Jamal Khashoggiโs murder is disgusting, and his comment that MBS โknew nothing about itโ goes against what our own intelligence agencies have found. Those involved in the killing of Khashoggi, who was a Virginia resident and journalist, should be held responsible. Instead of rolling out the red carpet for MBS and leveraging the presidency for private hotel deals, Trump should be demanding accountability on behalf of Khashoggiโs Virginia-based family and pressing Saudi Arabia to advance U.S. security interests. Unfortunately, this is just the most recent example of Trump placing his personal financial interests above the interest of the American people."

A reminder that seven years ago almost to the day, the CIA determined that Mohammed Bin Salman ordered the killing of @washingtonpost.com journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

โKhashoggi walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018. He never walked out. 15 Saudi agents killed him, cut up his body, and got rid of it in some way we still donโt know.
And on Tuesday, the President of the United States scolded a reporter for being rude enough to mention it.โ

Trump on Jamal Khashoggi: You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentlemanโฆWhether you like him or don't, things happen. But he[MBS] knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest
