OMG not surprising but disappointing. @clbergpowers.bsky.social and I were commiserating about the hours spent arguing with her on a listserv where she would spout racist stuff all the time. For exp when Black women brought up issues they were facing she would say, but why is that a feminist issue?
Not surprised. I spent a pretty good chunk of my 20s and early 30s arguing with her on a women's media listserv about her glaring blind spots on race and class. My favorite was her long, bewildered email asking "she doesn't really expect us to think she brings him to Red Lobster, does she?"
