Very pleased to announce I've joined PREMIER as a freelance Senior Account Executive - although you may have guessed from my first press release yesterday!
Very excited to start my PR journey with such a wonderful team and have the opportunity to stay in the games industry.

Despite being a big ol' fraidy cat, I'm getting caught up in the Resi hype.
There is no way I'd make it through the opening hour, and yet...
I'll still be freelancing in tech and fitness content (and finishing off some final commissions), because I simply love to write, but I'm also so, so excited to move onto the next step of my journey.
From Gamescom, to my first bylines on sites like IGN and Eurogamer, to esports tournaments and world-exclusives, to literally losing my hair over stats in the darker times, it's never been boring - and I'm so grateful to everyone I've met along the way.
I've been to Canada, Romania, Germany, the USA, and even Singapore - all places I simply wouldn't have had the chance to go without the support of an industry that took me in when I felt I offered so little, and showed me I could do so much.
I moved into the industry at 29, had to learn fast, and think I made a pretty good go of it - all while raising a family.
I've worked as a news writer, guides writer, editor, and all the way up to EIC, and I'm so grateful for the opportunities I've had to do a job that my younger self would have given anything for.
Feeling quite reflective today. I'm so excited to be able to announce my next move soon, but I'm leaving games media after seven years.
Finally splashed out on some stash tabs for Path of Exile 2 and they've changed my life. Genuinely spending so much less time messing around with my currencies now, and I have a Unique collection to flick through! What a world.
Can’t remember the last time I was this nervous for a NLD. That Arsenal squad, on paper, should win, but new manager bounce and this being a derby means it’s hard to call. COYG.

Been a bit quiet recently because things have been *chaotic*.
Between parenting, settling into the new job, trying to spend time with my wife and working all hours, I’m mindful I’ve not been responding to PR emails as much as I usually would.

Away for the weekend, little one and the wife fell asleep early, and thanks to the Xbox Ally X I was able to play Destiny and Path of Exile 2 on the go.
Has some software quirks (as Windows handhelds tend to do), but really impressed - even as a longtime Steam Deck user.
My son woke me up super early today so no gym because I want to snooze. Here’s one from yesterday instead.
Also, covering this live, even late in the evening, was a delight. I love Diablo, man.
