I love using cinnamon for propagating and wound care!
Technology eliminates jobs & industries while creating others. This is not unique to AI. Automation & AI streamline the biotech and medical device industry by reducing jobs in manufacturing while increasing high level technical jobs. My advice is to learn skills that the evolving job market needs
That is a huge generalization about doctors. As someone who also knows and works with many doctors, I find your comment offensive and counterproductive to a healthy sharing of opinions. Sweeping generalizations about any group of people should be avoided.
Never ever been on it.
Are you growing herbs inside? That meal looks very appetizing!
.
I donβt say this because I donβt mind blocking people or ignoring them. For some reason a lot of you fine folks follow me here. I tell this as a community note. Everyone often says they came here to get away from the hate of Twitter. Great. Then donβt be assholes for no reason to strangers.
Classic example of not knowing the difference between correlation and causation.
Love this song and group! Manic Monday is legendary as well!
Even the most disconnected or self employed business owner is still dependent on others. Business rely on other businesses for supplies, distribution, and infrastructure. We are communicating here because someone engineered this app, maintains the power grid, launched a satelliteβ¦.
I like how you justify your participation in a βmorally reprehensible system in order to survive β but condemn others for doing the same (not that I agree with your statement). If you had any credibility, you lost it.
Also if you have your own business, you are providing a service in exchange for something. That is part of the same system you condemned. You are participating in the practice you speak against, unless you are being fair. That was my point about my employer. Not every employer is a tyrant
You arenβt the judge of all society.
My family were slaves, so I have a clear understanding of the big picture. I donβt know you or if you care about the rest of the world and you donβt know me either. For the record, Iβve done countless hours of volunteer work and helped with adult literacy, so donβt be so quick to judge others
My employer created a business that allows me to apply my knowledge and earn a great wage doing something I enjoy. If you feel exploited, create your own business and work for yourself. The larger issue of humans being exploited is beyond my original point. Iβm thankful Iβm not in that situation
You get to decide fair compensation. I would not work somewhere if I was being exploited. There are a large percentage of people who are not fairly compensated, and that has been the case for the entirety of humanity. You make it seem like the employer offers nothing to the employee.
You can decide where you work, unless you are enslaved. You decide fair compensation. Once you agree to those terms, you are receiving the full value for your labor. If you donβt feel what you are being offered is fair, you can seek employment elsewhere. Education creates better opportunities
Iβm hard pressed to think of an animal that doesnβt have to work for food.
This dissolved from a scientific discussion to debating opinions, which are subjective. To say animals are more conscious and aware than most humans is a profound statement, unless you can back it up with a credible source.
Beautiful picture!
I just watched a video about how one of the flat earth people was taken to Antarctica to prove there was 24hrs of sun and they admitted they were wrong. I donβt understand why people think our planet is flat when you can look in the sky with your own eyes and see that planets are not flat.
That scenery would be nice for a painting!
A friend writes a newsletter every week or two and this week, this quotation was in it:
"Stop asking people if they 'believe in' climate change and start asking if they understand it. It's science, not Santa Claus."

Have you grown fig trees inside? I have some propagated plants started and they are thriving. Iβll put them in a pot later.

Here is a great way to repurpose a used jar. I am growing this aloe in an empty salsa jar! Since there is no drainage, be cautious not to overwater!
Me too! I have not even had a cold since pre Covid.
