Unfortunately, because of shifting baselines, people consider the degraded landscape as normal and even beautiful, what it has always been. We need more people like Eoghan to help the land return to what her natural state.
We are hosting a PhD course on volatiles in ecosystems for 30 international PhD students. Today we heard flash talks by all participants, got an introduction to isotopes, a lab tour and a tour in the Botanical Garden of #SNM.
We are thankful for Faculty of Science @ucph.bsky.social for funding.
As someone who studies bioturbation, I like the sound of this town…
