โThe tracks are a mix of original compositions and covers with the lyrics changed to make them about Marmaduke. For example, the theme of TV game show Blankety Blank becomes โSausagey Cat.โโ

One of our #LocalStudies treasures is a copy of Joseph Struttโs 'Sports and Pastimes of the people of England', 1801. It has beautiful illustrations and includes games weโve all heard of like skittles, billiards and dominos, but Strutt was puzzled by these. Any ideas??

Looking through the window inside the diorama, this shows the exhibition extending backwards, with miniature people and exhibits
This shows the window on the front of the item, where you can look through into the exhibition. The illustration shows people looking through the window too
The item held in hand, the front cover showing people viewing the exhibition, and the window in the centre

Take a peek at a miniature Great Exhibition, first open on this day in 1851! This diorama, โLaneโs telescopic viewโฆโ was published the same year, and folds out accordion style so we can look through the mini window.
