I don't need to.
squeak squeak
Elad Simchayoff on twitter: I interviewed two Israeli Air Force pilots who are part of the operation in Iran. When I asked what it felt like to enter Iranian airspace for the first time, one of them said: βYou find yourself thinking, what do these people, so far away from us, actually want from us? They have a huge and beautiful country. Right now full of snow and lakes. Truly a very, very beautiful place. What do they want from us, this small piece of land? Itβs such a strange feeling.β
A surprising number of Israelis seem to have already forgotten that they're the ones who started the war.
keep squeaking that, you have a war to fight
those words, in quotes, were his words, no?
'anecdotally' 'the journalist said'
etc
GPs famously have time for this fuckery
The only ones to respond would be those that have an axe to grind
'greater insecurity and irrelevance...'
There's probably a lot more security in not striving to stay 'relevant'
How about we keep our heads down for a while and just get along quietly trying to do good stuff
we now have an answer to βwhat if caligula had dementia?β
Derek Bentley could have offered some advice, if we hadn't hung him
Those 'consequences' being economic, rather than dead kids or intl. law of course
Robert Webb - just for calling him the Andrew Ridgely of comedy, and putting up a Wikipedia screengrab of recent work to back it up
Killing schoolgirls also not reversible - you get what you pay for
"I miss the Greens under Caroline Lucas"
Met a lad from Warwickshire, when I was a teenage mod. He was jealous of us Essex mods, because Essex could fit across the back of a crash helmet.
'We have to put Warks., and it looks like Wanks!'
Same.
Most of his characters are people he knew. He was dry as... with a real love of humans and their failings, from everything I saw, heard, and read.
Absolutely! Met him first at the Roadhouse in 98 I think, then in 2012 at Norwich Art Centre, Mrs. drove up & I got train from work in London, she was early and chatted with him, so he kept chatting to me through show, had drinks with him in the interval and afterwards - also chatted on twitter
Loved Kinky Friedman!
Met him a couple of times too
Israel uses white phosphorous and cluster munitions on Lebanon, poisons the air of Tehran with burning oil fumes, bombs every school and hospital in Gaza, and all the media can talk about is liberating people from the Mullahs. When are we liberating the Middle East from Israel?
There was a brief moment when it was open to almost all. In 1996 a flight to almost anywhere was at least Β£250. By 2002 I was taking my nephew on cheap weekend ski trips, which all in, everything, for both of us, would give me change from that.
Something also happened just before Russia invaded Donbas...
Oh, this one's a classic:
One shoe, two shoe,
Stop blowing up brown children with my fucking healthcare money, you murderous ghouls.
I do not like it in a dump.
I do not like it by a trump.
I do not like it over there.
I do not like it anywhere.
Ukraine would be considerably better off, if Nuland had never gone there in the first place - as would all of Europe
Did #bbclaurak speak in these emotive terms about Palestinians in body bags? Did she ask the Israeli president (who was also on the program this morning) about footage & images she's seen from Gaza & ask how on earth he justifies that?
Of course she didn't.

Remember folks: opposing 25 years of escalating war, slaughter and horror is insanely extreme and possibly treasonous, a threat that the police need to crack down hard upon. Cheering it all on and baying for more is Sensible, Moderate and patriotic.
You can see the actual power of the right wing media by their agitation for the UK to attack Iran. They're capable of enforcing a lockstep position across their papers and of getting the BBC to echo it, but they've had precisely no success at convincing the public to switch off their brains.
Remember it telling me I was too tired, I needed to turn off the machine and go to bed. Must be 25 yrs ago, I was playing in my flat, on my own, really stoned, it was 2am, I was terrified!
UK democracy in action
The state unable/unwilling to provide people with clean water, timely healthcare, social care, decent housing, pension, affordable education, energy, decent roads.
Corporate profits guaranteed through PFI, privatisations, outsourcing, subsidies, regulatory inaction.
