"Ryan. Be careful what you shoot at, huh. Shome thingsh in here don't react to well to bullets." Then Ryan muttering to himself about his not reacting so well to bullets. I love that whole part.

She literally does ONE decent improvement for the quality of life for this country and that is her downfall? We simply are not allowed to have nice things.

Bessent looks like he's trying to impersonate Will Ferrell's Harry Carey impression.

Yeah, they empath thing was a little silly sometimes, but Trek can be a little silly. TNG has some bangers though like The Drum Head and Best of Both Worlds. When I watched TNG as a kid I LOVED the technobabble!

I guess coach of the year will be a nice consolation prize to losing the Super Bowl. (go 'hawks)

Is this an NFC player that is actually, you know, playing in the Super Bowl, or is this a player that will spend some of this Sunday golfing before watching the big game on TV?

If Trump and the R's could figure out a way to end spam calls, Trump would walk into a third term with electoral numbers like Reagan '84.

I think this question, "Who in the USA gov runs the program?" is very important question. Do you REALLY want Dr. Oz and RFK Jr, and by extension, Trump, running your healthcare? Other countries do have national healthcare, but their government isn't purposefully trying to harm them.

Studies and polling suggest that Hispanics who entered the U.S. legally tend to be more conservative on questions of immigration. Some progressive Hispanics have bemoaned this, likening it to selfishly slamming shut a door behind you. Perales insisted that she doesn’t feel threatened, economically or otherwise, by new immigrants. She understands the hopeless circumstances that drive so many people from impoverished and conflict-ridden countries to make the journey north. What worries her is the perception of β€œcrossing without consequences.” She wants the U.S. to broadcast a stricter approach to immigration, not just for the sake of the rule of law and for the stability of her community, but also for the well-being of those thinking of coming here.

β€œThey’re being treated so inhumanely,” Perales said of the migrants traveling to America. β€œBut it’s the open-borders policy that is leading to that inhumane treatment.”

Joe Frank Martinez, the sheriff of Val Verde County, told me the same thing when I visited his office in Del Rio. A strong show of deterrence at the border, he said, is the decent thing to do. Not a week went by this summer, Martinez said, that he and his deputies didn’t discover a body of someone who had either drowned in the river or perished in the heat.

Tighter border control.

Why Democrats Are Losing Hispanic Voters The left has alienated America’s fastest-growing group of voters just when they were supposed to give the party a foolproof majority.

Yeah... but MAYBE the Democrats could have worked a little bit on the front end to shore up Latino support when there were stories in small, boutique publicizations, like, *THE ATLANTIC* that reported Latino support was slipping due to immigration concerns.

Movie you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (either War or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov I want you to watch this video of me slammed to the ground- why are you allowing this to happen to people you know are on the right side of history. They tied my hands behind my back and when I asked them to be loosened because I was going numb they said, β€œSTFU.”
