The Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport in Ireland has confirmed the successor scheme to a pilot initiative that saw some 2,000 artists receiving a

Research conducted into the pilot scheme showed for every for every €1 of public money invested in artists’ income, wider society received €1.39 in return.
