We spent the past year analyzing and rebuting arguments that have been launched against misinformation research. In my view, those arguments are important to make, but perhaps even more important to rebut because, as we show, they don’t always withstand critical scrutiny.

At the beginning of my career (late 80s), I built a radiative transfer model to understand the implications of decreased ozone in springtime over Antarctica; MS with the great Conway Leovy. Really amazing to visualize this now in so much detail!

Ozone hope? The 2024 ozone hole closer to the historical average in size and duration than the previous years. Does this signal progress towards recovery?
