Finished this vivid book a couple weeks ago. It’s an easy read and enjoyable for all. Not a lot of scandal happening here but we can forgive Verne for that

I helped my son cross the Rainbow Bridge this morning. I couldn’t have planned a better day for his passing. He actually slept good the night before, and he slept deeply on the couch with me and Nate, and he even slept on the way to the vet and at the vet. He wasn’t afraid. I love you, Poppy.

Just finished this later last evening. It’s about as long as I should have been. It goes into detail about her time being detained and how she coped and was able to maintain any sense of autonomy. After her time in prison, book feels like it breezes through the rest of her life as a BP woman.
